WAP-001, In Wall Access Point, provides Rapid Deployment, Security and Energy-Saving Solution in Hospitality, Education and Construction Market!

Hsinchu, Taiwan, October 7, 2011 – Handlink Technologies Inc. has today announced its innovative product, In Wall Access Point, the In-Room WiFi Internet access solution providing a series of hotel, motel, B&B, lodging, apartment and school classroom new applications in the hospitality, education and construction markets.

Nowadays, many guests, students and roomers use handheld devices like iPhone, iPad and Android smart phones. They need to access WiFi Internet anywhere. Typically, hotel, B&B, apartment and school have deployed wireless network service in the public areas. However, it is very difficult for them to use handheld devices to get WiFi access in the rooms. What's next challenge? Do you manage to improve WiFi connectivity service?

How to build WiFi Internet access in the rooms? Traditionally, you may put access points in the ceiling, pull new wirings and destroy interior decoration laboriously. In some rooms it works fine, but other places have a weak signal such as WiFi dead zones. Now you have alternative methods for building WiFi access point in the rooms, WAP-001 and replaces RJ-45 wall jacks of every room within 5 minutes using existing Ethernet wire. IT staff adjusts output power of WAP-001 wireless signals to as low as possible so that it is just enough to cover each single room to avoid potential WiFi channel conflict from neighboring rooms both vertically and horizontally. WAP-001 web-based management tool is effectively used during the deployment to set up IP address, ESSID and VLAND ID and its access control function can manage all access points efficiently without bothering daily room service too much.

Handlink will demonstrate their In-Room WiFi Internet access solution at Dubai, ZA'ABEEL Hall, Stand Z-H47 and Taiwan Excellence Pavilion in GiTEX2011.
